“Euphoria” star Angus Cloud has tragically passed away at 25. His family announced that he had departed at their home in Oakland, California.

The HBO series mourns the loss of a cherished actor.

Angus Cloud, who portrayed Fezco on the popular show, died in Oakland, as confirmed by his family to E! News.

“With profound sorrow, we bid farewell to a remarkable individual today,” stated his family. “In his roles as an artist, friend, sibling, and son, Angus touched our lives deeply.”

In a heartfelt revelation, his family shared that Angus was grieving his father’s recent passing.

“He recently laid his father to rest and grappled profoundly with the void,” the family’s statement expressed. “It gives us solace knowing Angus has reunited with his father, whom he considered his closest confidante. Angus never shied away from discussing his mental health challenges, and we fervently hope his passing serves as a beacon to remind everyone that they need not suffer silently.”

The family hopes Angus will be remembered for “his humour, warmth, and boundless affection. We request privacy as we navigate this heartbreaking moment.”

Details surrounding his death remain undisclosed.

Following the news, HBO paid tribute to the young actor. “It deeply saddens us to hear about Angus Cloud’s demise,” they stated. “His exceptional talent made him an integral part of the HBO and ‘Euphoria family. Our thoughts are with his loved ones during this trying period.”

Angus’s character, Fez, faced a near-fatal event at the end of the second season, and fans eagerly awaited his return in the third.

Recalling his excitement for the upcoming season, Angus told E! News, “Reuniting with the team feels overdue. I’m eager to dive back into the world of Euphoria, although I’m uncertain about Fezco’s journey. But I trust [creator] Sam [Levinson] has something special in store.”

Born and raised in the Bay Area, Angus and fellow star Zendaya were the Oakland School for the Arts alumni.

His journey to stardom began when he was spotted in Brooklyn, leading to his iconic role in “Euphoria.” Dismissing assumptions about the ease of his position, Angus once remarked, “Playing Fezco isn’t just me being myself on screen. Acting demands more than it seems.”

A decade before his passing, Angus survived a harrowing incident where he fell into a construction pit. He later described the life-threatening ordeal, emphasizing his mother’s pivotal role in saving his life after he emerged with a severe head injury.

Beyond “Euphoria,” Angus showcased his talent in projects like “North Hollywood” and “The Line” and also graced music videos for artists such as Becky G, Karol G, and Juice WRLD.

Angus Cloud’s untimely departure leaves a void in the entertainment industry. A beacon of talent, he transcended his characters, making each role unforgettable. His legacy will undeniably live on and off the screen as fans and colleagues mourn. The world will remember him as a captivating actor and a courageous individual who openly confronted life’s challenges.
