Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was named the 2022 NFL Most Valuable Player on Saturday night. The award ceremony, held annually to honor the best players in the league, recognized the 27-year-old for his outstanding performance this season.

Mahomes, who previously won the award in the 2018-19 season, becomes only the 10th player in NFL history to win the award multiple times. This season, he led the league in passing touchdowns with 41 and offensive touchdowns with 45, while also throwing for a career-high 5,250 yards.

The Chiefs’ Star Quarterback

Mahomes, who is playing for his second career Super Bowl title on Sunday, thanked God, the front office personnel, and his teammates for their support in helping him achieve this honor.

In his acceptance speech, Mahomes stated that he was grateful for the support from his family, friends, and teammates and that without them, his success would not have been possible. He also expressed his gratitude towards God for giving him the ability to play the game and for blessing him with a talented and hard-working team.

Mahomes’ performance this season was nothing short of remarkable, and he guided the Kansas City Chiefs to their third trip to the Super Bowl in the past four seasons. The Chiefs will play against the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LVII on Sunday in Glendale, Arizona.
