The recording sessions, which took place in Los Angeles, were produced by 2021 Grammy producer of the year Andrew Watt.

According to a report from Variety, Paul McCartney recorded the bass parts for the project, and there were rumours that Ringo Starr, McCartney’s former bandmate, would also be involved.
