In celebration of the 10th anniversary of their fourth and final album, “Random Access Memories,” Daft Punk is releasing an expanded edition that will include 35 minutes of never-before-heard music.
This deluxe version will be available in various formats, including digital, 2xCD, and 3xLP sets and will be available for pre-order starting May 12th.
The expanded tracklist features nine unreleased tracks, demos, sketches, and rare gems. Some of the standout tracks include “Horizon” (previously only available in Japan), a demo of “Infinity Repeating,” and “Touch (2021 Epilogue).”
This expanded release came two years after Daft Punk’s breakup on February 22nd, 2021. Last year, “Random Access Memories” was listed as No. 19 on Consequence’s list of the 75 Best Albums of the Last 15 Years.
On April 7th, Thomas Bangalter of Daft Punk will release his first solo album since the group’s breakup, “Mythologies,” an orchestral work.
