Liam Payne’s untimely death continues to shock the world, but new revelations from Argentina’s public prosecutor have provided clarity. A translated press release shared on November 7 states that the One Direction star’s passing is not being ruled a suicide, highlighting a series of factors that shed light on the tragedy.

The Shocking Details of Payne’s Final Moments

On October 16, Liam Payne fell from the third-floor balcony of the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires. Authorities now believe that Payne was not fully conscious or aware of his actions at the time of the fall.

The prosecutor’s statement noted, “The phenomenon of the lack of defense or self-preservation reflex in the fall, together with other relevant data from his consumption, allow us to conclude that Liam Payne was not fully conscious or was experiencing a state of noticeable decrease or loss of consciousness at the time of the fall.”

In this state, Payne’s actions could not be considered voluntary. “In the state he was in, he did not know what he was doing nor could he understand it,” the statement continued.

Toxicology Reports and Arrests

A partial autopsy revealed the presence of “pink cocaine,” a dangerous mix of methamphetamine, ketamine, and MDMA, along with cocaine, benzodiazepine, and crack. Three individuals have been charged in connection to Payne’s death. Their charges include abandonment leading to death and the supply of narcotics.

Judge Laura Graciela Bruniard’s 180-page indictment detailed efforts to reconstruct Payne’s final days at the hotel. Nine raids were conducted across Buenos Aires, and the accused faced ongoing legal proceedings.

A Friend’s Perspective

Businessman Rogelio “Roger” Nores, a close friend of Payne, has strongly denied involvement. “I never abandoned Liam. I went to his hotel three times that day and left 40 minutes before this happened,” Nores stated in an interview with the Daily Mail.

Describing his heartbreak, Nores added, “I wasn’t Liam’s manager; he was just my dear friend. I’m heartbroken with this tragedy, and I’ve been missing my friend every day.” He affirmed his cooperation with the investigation, providing a statement on October 17.

A Family in Mourning

Liam Payne’s body was returned to the U.K. on November 7, accompanied by his father, Geoff. Payne leaves behind his parents, two older sisters, and his 7-year-old son Bear, whom he shared with ex-girlfriend Cheryl Cole.

The singer’s passing at just 31 years old is a poignant reminder of many’s struggles. As the investigation continues, Payne’s fans and loved ones worldwide mourn the loss of a bright and beloved star.
