The initial idea was to connect the Francophone region of Montreux with the German-speaking area of Interlaken without the inconvenience of changing trains. The GPX makes this possible, offering a direct, three-hour and fifteen-minute journey that highlights the scenic beauty of the region, from the towering Bernese Alps to the serene vineyards of Montreux.

The Swiss Travel Pass starts at 244 Swiss francs, with free travel for children under 16.
