Universal Studios Hollywood has transformed into the vibrant world of the Mushroom Kingdom with the addition of Super Nintendo World. Visitors can immerse themselves in the world of iconic video game designer Shigeru Miyamoto, with life-sized coin blocks, warp pipes, and beloved characters like Mario and Luigi.

According to Jon Corfino, Vice President of Universal Creative, the park is a dream come true for fans of all ages. “You’ll see five-year-olds and grown men in their 50s screaming with excitement because they finally get to experience a place they’ve only known through their games,” he said.

The park features the exciting “Mario Kart Bowser’s Challenge,” where players can race against Team Bowser, and guests can dine at the Toadstool Café or purchase Nintendo merchandise at the 1-UP Factory Store.

Take your experience to the next level with the interactive “Power-Up Band,” a colourful bracelet that stores digital coins and keys, unlocking access to challenges and battles against game antagonist Bowser Jr.

Super Nintendo World aims to ignite interest in both new and seasoned Mario fans with an immersive experience, following in the footsteps of its predecessor in Universal Studios Japan. The park is set to open in Universal Studios Florida in 2025.

Attendees can explore and adventure anywhere in the park, learning something new each time they go on the Mario Kart ride. “We’ve worked hard over the last six years to bring this to life,” Corfino said.

The new Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Hollywood is a must-visit for popular video game series fans. Not only will visitors be able to experience the beloved world of Mario and his friends in a whole new way, but they’ll also have the opportunity to participate in thrilling challenges and interactive experiences.
