La Masia, Barcelona’s famous soccer academy, has been a breeding ground for some of the greatest players in the world, including coach Xavi, who himself graduated from the academy to become one of Barcelona’s and Spain’s most celebrated players.

Guiu, in a recent match against Athletic Bilbao in the Spanish league, scored a goal merely 30 seconds into his debut, securing a 1-0 win for Barcelona. This feat made Guiu the youngest Barcelona player to score in a debut match.

Guiu is not the only young talent to have seized the opportunity given by Xavi. Earlier in the year, 16-year-old Lamine Yamal made his debut in April, and has since become a regular starter for Barcelona, even earning a call-up for Spain’s national team.
